The one thing I really like about breaks is that there is so little to do. It
can be over the top boring sometimes, but compared to last week’s stressors, I
don’t mind.
Music note: Jason Mraz kicks some ass.
It’s kinda like a whiteboy jam-freestyle thing, which sounds pretty good. I
just check pollstar and he’s coming to Toronto/Hamilton soon, so maybe I’ll be
taking a ride up to see the show. Another positive is he allows bootlegging
of his shows (ala Dave, Howie Day, Johnny Mayer et al) so you get a really
good feel for his ability, as opposed to a single LP.
Finally, congratulations go out to my big bro from PSP, Eric Marderness, who
just proposed to his long-time girlfriend Colleen over the weekend. And also
to Jen Baldwin, who also got engaged earlier this month to her boyfriend. I
guess I’m officially the next level of old, my friends are starting to get
hitched. (And to answer your question, no! ;p )
The week from hell is finally over, all that is left is two measley exams and
I’m done for a few weeks. And with next quarters light schedule, I just can’t
lose.
On more important topics, as many of you know I’ve been trying to bring Tech Corps to Rochester. I’ve started
calling local schools to gain some interest, with varied results so far. If
you think you might be able to help, or know someone who does, let me know.

Allright, its been way too long since I’ve posted. Schools kicking my ass, far
too much shit going on and next week is no better. In happy news, I just had
a great interview for a position after graduation, and I have another
interview next week too, good shit.
Also, today is Febuary 14th, which as everyone knows is the birthday of both
Jim Kelly and Drew Bledsoe (and Abe Lincoln too, but he doesn’t play for the
bills so he doesn’t really matter). Also, on this day last year three single,
angry, and borderline alcoholic students at RIT came up with the great idea to
invite themselves and all their single friends to a ‘fuck Valentines Day
party’ where they would drink early and often, bitching about the opposite
sex. The tradition continues tonight at the LST, single people only! This of
course rules out myself, as I’ll be spending the weekend with my lady friend
(w00t).
