Geh, I’m supposed to hear back from RIT early this week for the job, so of
course I’ve been checking e-mail every 5 minutes since 9am… Tick tock tick
tock…
Slighty new and much improved sight design up. Hope you like it.
Last night was the first night I’ve been to the bars now that the no smoking
law is in effect, the bar is a whole lot more enjoyable. Ironically, they
didn’t seem to be hurting for business at all (but 50 cent beers probobly help
that along). The only thing bars are really bitching about is the fact they
can’t charge $8 a pack at the bar now.
Blah, I haven’t stayed on top of this nearly as much as I should have. The
biggest news recently was my interview at ITS, the people who run RIT’s
network and computer systems. I think it went well overall, except for the
logic puzzle I was given that involved 3 canibals, 3 missionariess and a boat.
All the questions about databases and such I nailed, so I should be okay. I
find out in about 10 days.
The whole self-business thing is going allright. It’s a fuckload of coding,
and I can only handle so much at any given sit down. Tommorow Kirsten gives
me some help with the graphics and design.
On the current affairs topic, I’m strangely drawn to the whole Kobe situation.
I don’t even follow basket ball, but its really sad situation, it seemed no
one wanted to believe he’d do something like that, and now it turns out he’s
said he did sleep with her, but it was consensual. He’s one of the last to
have a wholesome image, and it just went down the crapper. Sad story…
Yikes, it takes way too long to recover from vacation. This past week since
san fran has flown by. San fran was an absolute blast. Great food and a
whole lot of walkinig that completely destroyed my knees. The sights were
wild, coit tower and alcatraz topped the list. The fireworks display at
Fisherman’s Wharf was one of the best I’ve ever seen.
In other news, you may have heard me mention in the past two weeks I’ve
started my own business. I’ve spent most of this week trying to set up the
technical aspects of what I’ll be doing (Technology Consulting, groupware,
etc.). I think it definetly has some potential. More updates to come.
I’m back from San Fran and pictures are up
Enjoy.
